In this activity, we will practice reported statements and questions. 

Watch the film clips and complete sentences to report what the actors said (e.g. They aren’t my friends. — He said they weren’t his friends.). 

GUESS THE PROFESSION

Please listen to the recording in which people talk about their professions. Let's discuss what profession each person has and use reported statements to give reasons for their answers based on what the people said.

SHAWDOWING AND REPOTING EVENTS

Please watch the following movie clip from the movie Mean Girls the scene "Meeting the Plastics" and report the following things:

Introduction: What happened? When and where? Who was involved?

Main Details: What were the key moments? What did people say or do?

Conclusion: What was the outcome or consequence?
