Write a short story (200-300 words) about an interesting or unexpected weekend experience. Your story can be based on a real event or completely fictional. Try to include at least 8-10 phrasal verbs from the list we saw in class 31 to 60:
Guidelines:
- Begin your story by setting the scene—where were you, and what were you planning to do?
- Describe something surprising or challenging that happened.
- Use the phrasal verbs correctly in your sentences.
- End with a reflection on the experience—did you learn something? Would you do it again?
Example Opening:
"Last Saturday, I decided to go out with my friends after a long and stressful week. We had been looking forward to it for days! Before heading out, I looked up the best places to eat, and we finally chose a new Italian restaurant downtown..."
